Superconducting magnet and undulator technologies

The work group, a subdivision of the Laboratory for the Application of Synchrotron radiation (LAS), focuses on the development of superconductive electro-magnetic structures for the generation of synchrotron radiation, as well as the investigation of the properties of such structures and their cross-interaction with the electron beam. A further topic is the development of novel synchrotron radiation sources using the technology of superconductive undulators.
